An incredible clip has emerged showing a female Kurdish sharpshooter laughing after a bullet fired by an ISIS militant narrowly missed her head.

The YPJ (Women’s Protection Units) sniper can be seen taking aim on a balcony during a duel with an ISIS sharpshooter in the terrorist organisation’s stronghold of Raqqa in the north of Syria.

This female warrior missed a direct headshot by inches and after she learned what happened, instantly she started to laugh. The number of volunteer soldiers in YPJ are increasing with each passing day and people want peaceful and secure future.

For those of us who have no clue about the YPJ, it is an all-female military branch of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG). The branch was created to defend from ISIS attacks for the protection of the Kurdish community. Currently, the organization is known to have around 20,000 members, within the age group of 18 to 40 year.

The footage was posted on Twitter by Kurdish journalist Hemze Hamza who is currently embedded with the YPJ fighters. The tweet that accompanied the clip said: “Kurdish women know no fear. Your average human being would be scared for life after being so close to death but she kept laughing.”

Watch the video and decide yourself, if you had been in her position, would you be laughing too?
