His conviction and hard work paid off and, today, his company has a yearly turnover of Rs 50 lakh. and he got mentioned in the 30 under 30 Forbes List.
28-year-old Munaf runs The Bohri Kitchen in Mumbai, a place that was born out of Munaf wanting to keep his mother occupied rather than have her watching TV all day. She’d frequently whip up some Bohri delicacies for him before it all began, and he soon turned it into a business venture. The fare on offer has as much to do with it as Munaf’s own business moxie though.
The restaurant is now two years old and can easily be deemed as one of the most talked about places in Mumbai.
An ideal meal here starts with an assortment of starters, many options for main course, desserts, condiments and beverages. A visit here will fetch you a 7 course meal.
It has already been appreciated by Bollywood celebrities like Farah Khan, Rani Mukerji, Huma Qureshi and Ashutosh Gowarikar but TBK is not a restaurant where you can have your favorite meal every day.
The Kitchen operates twice in a week on every Saturdays and Sundays only, you can use the option of delivery or ask them for catering an event for you.
If a person wants to visit TBK, he/she needs to contact Munaf or his team because it is an invite only event and it is based in Munaf’s house only. “I am inviting these people to my home, I need to know who they are.”
This is not your run-of-the-mill restaurant but a class apart.
